“I’ve been an oil painter most of my career, and only began using print as my main mode of artmaking in the last 8 years. I found with a busy teaching schedule I had less and less studio time, and while teaching relief printmaking, discovered the process was a good fit for my own workflow. We purchased a Conrad press because they are the industry standard in art institutions and are made stateside. I use a 24” Conrad Monotype press in the studio, which works wonderfully for the relief print and drypoint we do.”
