"I got my press about three years ago. I was looking for something sturdy, well built, and large - while keeping in mind that the price of shipping a press to Alaska pretty much excluded anything that wasn't a tabletop press. I bought a larger sized tabletop press and stand and it has been fantastic for my woodcuts. I like the idea that you can talk to the people who are making your tools for you, rather than just buying something off of the assembly line."
